The daily animal-feeding experience is the distinctive part of the stay. Official tourism information lists animals ranging from cattle, buffalo and horses to reptiles, a camel and ostriches. Activities can change, so check timing after arrival rather than planning a tight itinerary around an old review.

Pets, campfires and river access#

Current site listings mark pets as allowed and campfires as prohibited. Confirm pet conditions directly with the host: this is a working animal environment, so control around livestock and wildlife matters more than a generic “dog-friendly” label.

• One July 2026 guest found a powered pitch dusty and without grass. Site surface varies, so ask what is currently available if dust or shade matters.

This is more like a sociable farm-themed caravan park than a private bush Hipcamp. That can be exactly right for children and touring families, but less suitable for someone seeking isolation.
