Get access to booked out campsites.
Tell us where and when you want to camp. We text you the booking link when a spot opens up.
How it works
Pick your dates
Choose the campground, check-in, check-out, and group size you want.
Verify your mobile
We text a 6-digit code so alerts only go to a number you control.
Get the text
If those dates open up, we send the official booking link straight to your phone.
What campers are saying
“Scored a long weekend at Depot Beach after months of checking manually. Got the text at 7am, booked by 7:02.”
Sarah M. — Sydney
“I set up an alert for The Basin and completely forgot about it. Two weeks later I got a text and we had our Easter camping trip sorted.”
James K. — Newcastle
“So much better than refreshing the Parks website on my lunch break every day. Took 30 seconds to set up and it just worked.”
Priya R. — Wollongong
FAQ
Is CampWatch free?
Yes, completely free. No hidden fees, no premium tier, no credit card. CampWatch was built by a camper for campers.
How many alerts can I set?
You can have up to 3 active alerts per phone number. Once an alert fires or you stop it, you can create a new one straight away.
How quickly do cancelled spots get rebooked?
Popular campgrounds can get rebooked within minutes of a cancellation. CampWatch monitors availability around the clock so you hear about openings fast.
Which states does CampWatch cover?
CampWatch currently monitors 1,351 campgrounds across NSW, QLD, SA, VIC, WA, NT, and the ACT that publish live availability through their official booking systems.
Why do I need a verification code first?
The code confirms the phone number that will receive the alert. It keeps alerts tied to a real number without making you create an account.
How exact is the alert?
Very exact. CampWatch only texts you when the campground, stay dates, and guest count line up with the alert you created.
What happens when my dates open up?
You get an SMS with the matching stay details and the official booking link, so you can move straight into the booking flow.
I got an alert but the site was already booked — what now?
Cancelled spots at popular campgrounds can be snapped up within minutes, so occasionally someone else books first. Keep your alert active — CampWatch will notify you again the next time a spot opens up for your dates.
How do I stop alerts?
Every alert SMS includes a cancel link that lets you manage all your active alerts from one page. You can also reply STOP to turn off all alerts for your number.
